As we bid farewell to #Denmark this week after all of our fun virtual adventures, we do so with a delicious souvenir! Have you ever heard of #LakridsbyBulow? I learned about them this past Fall when I was shopping at a store here in Berlin, and was handed a free sample while waiting in line. It is an excellent strategy by the company because after one bite, I was hooked!
Denmark is known for its love of licorice. This, I knew, from a previous visit. But this company was founded to create luxury licorice bites. As you can see from the sample box above that I ordered, there are lots of different chocolate and candy flavors into which the licorice is dipped.
The brand is on the pricier end, but this is certainly a splurge I am willing to make every so often. Mmmmm... :)
